Recently, I bought a lot new art materials, including:

:bulletpink: A few tubes of Holbein's Watercolors, 5ml
:bulletorange:  Swivle knives (to cut screentone)
:bulletyellow:  Screentones
:bulletwhite:  Opaque White
:bulletblue:  Stickable paper flowers, pearls and bows
:bulletgreen:  Dr. Ph. Martin's Radiant Ink, set A

It all cost me a fortune! I'm going try out the Inks when it arrives. I'm a huge fan of Arina Tanemura's artwork, and I found out that she uses Dr. Martin's ink! That the reason I had to get some! :XD:  I heard that Inks are brighter than watercolor, so I'll experiment with them soon ...

I've always wanted a big set of Copic markers, but they cost way to much for me. About 30 is enough for me, I'm going to trying out new materials that have different effects but have the same great quality (and lasts longer)! I think Copic markers are the most popular and the most used material right now among artists! Shonen Jump artists are mostly ALL using them and many people around the world! Am I the only one who thinks they(Copic Ciao) run out to easily? ^^;

I've drew so much during the past few months, but I'm always way TOO lazy to scan them! ㅠㅅㅠ
In the past few months, I entered 2 contests (Bakuman fanart contest and Superfan 2011) hosted by the North American Shonen Jump magazine, and won prizes for both! I can't believe I won places for both! This is one of the best things that ever happened to me! :iconomgsocuteplz:

Kimi Ni Todoke Doujinshi

:star: I recently started a doujinshi (fan comic) of Kimi Ni Todoke! I'm very serious about it! Please look forward to it (in the future)! I'm still planning the story and progressing with the storyboards. Drawing shoujo manga is a LOT harder than it looks. Making the story interesting is my main issue. My father read the first 14 pages of the storyboard and he was yawning! ^^;  I'm not going to reveal the main couple to the doujinshi yet! It'll be a suprise! Hint: It ISN'T Kazehaya:heart:Sawako or anything related to Kento Miura! ^ㅂ^ I'm a huge fan of KNT! Are there any tips for making a doujinshi? I'm a complete amateur ... >.>

What makes a doujinshi interesting and make you want to keep on reading without getting bored? What would you want to happen between your favourite couple (or any couple from Kimi ni Todoke)? (I'm out of ideas) ^^;

Harry Potter Final Review

:sun: The Harry Potter Final was EPIC! I LOVED it a lot! I'm very sad that it's over, but the whole movie was really well put together and Daniel Radcliff's acting was phenomenal!  :w00t: I recently started a sketch of Harry, the scene of the moment just before he dies, getting killed by Voldemort! :excited:  When the screen went completely white, when Harry woke up and met Dumbledore, was my favourite scene! It was the most peaceful the series could ever get (in my opinion) and we could finally see Harry surrounded by a non-dark environment! He's so handsome! :iconiloveyouplz:

Thank you for reading! This is a brief update.

Hey! How is your summer going, i don't know whether or not to email you though so yeah. I was in Poland and it rained, all the time, every single day. Then most of the country flooded and tons of houses were ruined, a mild hurricane popped up... in other words it was awesome!

Wow! Sounds like you had quite a trip! :aww: Have you been drawing a lot lately? I've been busy for a long time planning my 'Kimi ni Todoke' doujinshi and also the 4 page storyboard contest by Shonen Jump [link] . Did you read or watch KNT before (or any other work from Karuho Shiina)? I've wanted to e-mail you about Fan Expo for a long time (I'll e-mail you soon)! Did you use the cool portable watercolor brush on the plane? I'll be sure to show you my doujinshi when I'm finished (50 pages to go for the first story!) ^^;
