I recently had time to watch/read more anime/manga (since it's summer vacation). I also wanted to discuss some different series, and ask some questions if watching and reading is worth it.

to-Love-ru (-trouble-)
I recently read the first few chapters of it and it seems pretty interesting and funny!!! But it's kind too stereotypical, like a manga that's many-many-girls-like-one-guy type of series. Shojo-ish, but with a bit more action. The art is really pretty, it's by the same artist as the series Black Cat!!! It kinda resembles Ichigo 100% (less hentai, tough) and also Rosario+Vampire(less fighting and more cute-ish) Is the anime worth watching?? Is the manga worth the time reading???

Skip Beat
I read the manga and watched the anime. My opinions on this series is that it's also is the stereotypical two(3-ish)-guys-like-one-girl type of series. It's shojo, but the art, I don't really like. Nakamura-sensei draws guys' faces triangular-ish and it looks really awkward. The eyes of the guys are really small, so I don't like the art. Just my opinion. The series, to me, is pretty boring, since I really don't like the theme 'acting' or 'showbiz' for a manga. And it's pretty obvious who Kyoko is going to end up with, Ren!! So there's no point guessing … But I still like KyokoxSho

The relationship-thing is kinda like Vampire Knight's, but I like VK better than SB because we are still unsure of who Yuuki is going to end up with so it makes people want to keep on reading. As if for Skip Beat, the characters kinda look the same... And the love triangle is a bit awkward....

But when I watched the anime, WOAH!! I was hooked completely!!! The anime is pretty good! But it wouldn't be a series I would watch a second time ... (._.;;]

It's AWESOME!! I love Obata Takeshi's art!! The characters are really unique and I love the past with Mashiro's uncle, and how he mysteriously died. Its a great romance/mangaka themed manga!! I love the relationship between Mashiro and Azuki!! This manga shows mangaka's true passion and love for drawing/writing manga series!!! But they make it seem sooo easy to publish manga in japan and enter the magazine Shonen Jump!! I don't think there's going to be an anime though....
